LISA COWAN SCARF CUTTING

Congratulations to Lisa who successfully completed the Architectural Registration Examination (ARE)!  To celebrate this achievement, firm partners continued our unique tradition of cutting off pieces of her scarf at our monthly staff meeting.

Lisa has been a member of the RLPS staff for 6½ years. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University and an Associate Degree of Applied Science from Thaddeus Steven’s College of Technology.  Lisa is also a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

The ARE assesses candidates for their knowledge, skills, and ability to provide the various services required in the practice of architecture, concentrating on services that most affect the public health, safety, and welfare. The exam currently consists of seven divisions encompassing Construction Documents & Services, Programming, Planning & Practice, Site Planning & Design, Building Design & Construction Systems, Structural Systems, Building Systems and Schematic Design.
