Environments for Aging Names Winners of Design Showcase
September 25, 2014The Osborn H.O.P.E. Memory Care Center was one of four projects selected for an award in the annual design showcase sponsored by Environments for Aging, in conjunction with the Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments, The Center for Health Design, and the International Interior Design Association. Each year, a jury made up of senior living and interior designers, architects, educators and providers gathers to review project submissions representing a wide range of design projects. After hours of review and discussion, the submissions were whittled down to four finalists. These facilities and their designers were recognized at the Environments for Aging Conference in Anaheim, California, and were featured in the Spring 2014 issue of Environments for Aging magazine. The Osborn, one of the premier memory care interiors in its area, received an Honorable Mention award. The memory care interiors space was described by one juror as “warm, inviting and elegant.”
