To transition to a resident-centered care model, renovations and modest additions to each of the nursing floors reorganized the existing institutional units into separate households. Each reconfigured household has its own entrance leading into the living areas. A new visitor hallway and elevator addition reorganizes circulation, eliminating the intrusion of visitors/staff going through one household to get to another and allowing the existing elevator to be dedicated to discreet service deliveries.
