Justin Harclerode, AIA

Senior Designer

RLPS Employee Since 2018

Bachelor of Architecture, Kansas State University

Justin serves as a project designer with experience across a variety of building types including education, senior living, and hospitality. He coordinates multi-disciplinary teams working closely with each client to achieve design objectives following individual program goals. Close to 20 years of diverse experience have given him a clear understanding of how well conceived design can positively impact living and learning environments. He values the professional development that results from seeing projects from inception through completion and counts himself fortunate to have had those opportunities so far in his career.

Justin’s path has always pointed towards architecture and design. He remembers the act of creating and building that was nurtured by his dad building their family home, and he now enjoys home renovations of his own. You’ll have to ask Justin to share the story about how he started out wanting to be an “underwater” architect.

While family and career currently take up most of his time, Justin hopes to one day learn additional languages, have a furniture workshop, learn guitar…and use architectural speak to always stay one step ahead of Artificial Intelligence.

“Be kind.” – Justin’s favorite words to live by.
