Interior Designer – Flex Schedule

As an Interior Designer with 5 or more years of industry experience, you will understand the client’s vision and merge it with design concepts while working on a project team. This role calls for a creative professional with a strong grasp of design, material selection, and a talent for working closely with clients and colleagues for a personalized experience.

Apply NowEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and present design project requirements aligned with budget constraints and client goals while adhering to RLPS’s process and procedures.
- Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations.
- Design functional space plans, collaborate with the project team, which includes architects and MEP consultants, architectural interior detailing, research and selecting design materials, as well as FF&E.
- Oversee moderate to large projects and aid in the development of more junior staff.
- Function as a mentor in design and delivery to project team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in interior design.
- Balance and align team efforts to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
What You’ll Need
- Resume and PDF of your portfolio or work samples.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- NCIDQ Certification preferred but not required.
- Experience in Senior Living, K-12, Higher Education, or hospitality projects preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
