Production Artist

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Production Artist to support RLPS’s Design, Project, Marketing and Business Development teams through the creation of high-quality visual materials. This role plays a key part in communicating the firm’s work, supporting client engagement efforts, and ensuring consistency with RLPS’s brand standards across a wide range of deliverables.

As a Production Artist with 2 to 5 years of experience, you will collaborate with Designers, Architects, Marketing staff, Interior Designers, the Partnership, and others to translate technical concepts and written content into clear, compelling visual communication across all markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

PUBLICATIONS & REPORTS

  • Design and layout whitepapers, feasibility studies, and charrette summary documents
  • Organize and format complex information into clear, legible, and visually consistent documents
  • Maintain quality control and adherence to firm graphic standards across all materials

 

GRAPHIC SYSTEMS & VISUALIZATION

  • Create infographics, charts, and diagrams to support proposals, presentations, and other marketing efforts
  • Assist in translating technical and design-related information into visual formats (e.g. campus maps, site and floor plans, renderings, and other illustrative graphics)
  • Support ongoing development and application of firm graphic standards

 

MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

  • Design and produce marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, A3 sheets, and digital assets
  • Develop promotional materials for events, conferences, and client engagement initiatives
  • Assist with award submissions and other business development materials

 

EVENT & ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS

  • Design signage and supporting graphics for events and client environments
  • Assist with preparation of conference materials and large-format graphics as required

 

COLLABORATION & COORDINATION

  • Coordinate with marketing, business development, and design staff to meet project deadlines
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • A resume and PDF of your portfolio or work samples
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in Adobe Express, Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe After Effects is preferred
  • Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability of layouts, typography, and document organization

  • Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
